Conference & Exhibition: Thursday –  Saturday , September 25-27, 2025

The official language of the Conference is English.

Registration will be possible on all days of the conference, but please register at your earliest convenience.

Working hours:

• Thursday, September 25: from 9:00 to 19:00
• Friday, September 26: from 9:00 to 18:30
• Saturday: September 27: from 8:00

A name badge is required for admittance to all official conference sessions and events according to the type of registration. Please, collect your conference kit and name badge from the registration desk on arrival. Name badge must be collected by the registered person during the registration desk opening hours. A proof of identity will be needed e.g. passport or any photo ID. It cannot be collected or used by anyone other than the person registered and named on the badge.

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibition area, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

All coffee breaks and lunch boxes are included in the conference fee. Coffee and lunch package will be served in the Exhibition area as per the times indicated in the timetable. Vouchers for coffee break and lunch boxes are provided as part of the conference kit. Special dietary corner will be available.

It is recommended that participants obtain adequate insurance cover for travel, health and accidents before they depart from their countries of residence. The Conference organizer shall not be held liable for personal injury or any loss or damage to the belongings of conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.

WiFi is available throughout the Venue (lecture and poster halls and exhibition area).

Smoking is not permitted inside the Venue grounds.

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact local Serbian Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa on time, if required.

Official letters of invitation will be sent on request. Such letters do not represent a commitment of the ISSS2025 Organizing Committee to provide any financial assistance. For an invitation letter, please contact info@isss2025belgrade.rs

Taxi
For all information, please contact the city service TAXIINFO, located in the baggage claim area at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade. At the airport Info Desk you will get the taxi receipt specifying the desired destination and the price for taxi service. That way you will make sure the taxi service is in line with the most favourable rate. Payment options: Serbian Dinars, Credit Cards and Euros.

There is no a free parking available in front of the Venue.

The time zone in Serbia is Central European Time (CET) (UTC plus 1 hour).

The Serbian currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD). Credit cards (Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard) are accepted in most shops, and ATMs are widely available in downtown Belgrade. You can use Visa, Visa Electron, Plus, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro and Cirrus branded cards to withdraw money from an ATM. Belgrade ATMs require 4-digit pin codes.

As in most cities of continental Europe, the electricity voltage in Belgrade is 220 V. Electrical outlets are standard European.

Tap water in Belgrade is safe to drink.

During September, Belgrade is known for its perfect weather, characterized by high temperatures and moderate rainfall. As the day progresses, temperatures can peak at 25°C. Luckily at nightfall, they typically drop to 13°C.

Belgrade in September usually receives moderate rainfall, averaging around 59 mm for the month. Based on our climate data of the past 30 years, about 8 days of rain are anticipated.

Expect sunny days throughout the month, with an estimated 203 hours of sunshine. Making it a pleasant time to visit Belgrade.
